Meagre is a fast growing species that presents a great size dispertion, making necessary to sort the fish by size, sevreal times, in order to keep the homogeneity of the lots. In this trial the student will be involved in a trial to evaluate if the slow growing fish can somehow be recovered (in terms of weight and lenght) by changing parameters such as temperature and protein ratio. Growth, survival, FCR and proximal composition will be evaluated. Also, gene expression of growth-related genes will be perfomed.
