3D reconstruction of zoological collections

The student will learn basis of 3D modelling techniques to create three-dimensional objects from photosets of marine invertebrates. After taking the pictures, the student will elaborate them with a free software to obtain a virtual collection of marine invertebrates that could be useful for future projects (i. e., creation of informative exhibitions, objects that could be embedded in educational presentations or videos, acquisition of morphometric data etc.).
