Título de la práctica: Assessing the economic value of fishing grounds operated by small-scale fleets

Responsible: PhD. Laura García de la Fuente, laura.indurot@uniovi.es

The work is part of one of the tasks foreseen in the "CABFishMAN" Atlantic Area Interreg European Project, in which the University of Oviedo participates (through INDUROT). The student will deepen their knowledge of artisanal and small-scale fisheries in the European South Atlantic, and its economic and social importance. Specifically, it will participate in the compilation and exploitation of information contained in different databases and aimed at obtaining economic indicators with spatial reference on the value of the different fishing grounds exploited by the small-scale Asturian fishing fleet through artisanal trades.
