Bioerosive pattern of the date mussel Lithophaga lithophaga and the withe piddock Pholas dactylus in the Adriatic Sea.

The  populations distribution and abundance of the date mussel Lithophaga lithophaga and the withe piddock Pholas dactylus will be assessed by scientific diving  down to 10 m depth along the promontory of Ancona.  Moreover the bioerosive patterns of the two species will be compared on different lithologies.
