Associations between hydrozoans and scleractinian of the Maldives Archipelago.

Maldives Archipelago is located at the south-west of India and consists of 22 coral atolls, extending for nearly 470 km in a north-south direction. While the biodiversity and richness of Maldivian corals are well studied, a few information has been recorded on the hydrozoan’s community and the association between these metazoans and other organisms. The project aims to study the associations between the hydrozoans Zanclea sp. and hard corals of three Maldivian atolls.
